Victoria Parenzo Masciadrelli

Victoria (Parenzo) Masciadrelli, known by everyone as “Nonnie”, was proud of her family and her community. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Born June 28, 1919 in Westfield MA, she was married for 41 years to the late Joseph Masciadrelli. Victoria graduated from Saint Mary’s High School, Class of 1938. Shortly after graduation she was married and became a proud mother and homemaker for many years. Victoria has enjoyed every minute with her family and friends. In the most recent years, the twinkle in her eyes was the result of time spent with her cherished great grandchildren. She is remembered for her “Florence Nightingale character and approach for caring for people.”

Victoria’s love of family and her spirit of generosity is remembered through the Victoria Parenzo Masciadrelli Scholarship for Nursing. A care taker, home maker, and kind spirit, Victoria’s legacy will provide an amazing opportunity for incoming freshman Nursing students from the Westfield area to further their education.

Impact

“With two other people in my family paying off college loans, it can be financially difficult to pay for college so your generous acts do not go unnoticed. I hope to use this Victoria Parenzo Masciadrelli Scholarship to graduate as an RN in 2022 and work in pediatrics.”
-Angela Paine, ’22, Nursing
