The Landrau/Martinez Scholarship Fund: Reach to Teach Partnership
It all started with two of Westfield State University’s esteemed trustees, Madeline Landrau and Lydia E. Martinez-Alvarez ’86, ’04 decided to join together and form a scholarship for students from the Springfield Public Schools and enrolled at Westfield State to receive a degree in Education. This scholarship is intended to provide support to those who upon graduation, plan on teaching in the Springfield Public School System.
