Veta Daley Scholarship: Reach to Teach Partnership

The Veta Daley Scholarship: Reach to Teach Partnership was established by the Daley family to provide support for African American or Caribbean American students from the Springfield, MA Public Schools so they may pursue a degree in Education at Westfield State. Students will be a participant in the Reach to Teach Program, a ground-breaking partnership between the Springfield Public Schools and Westfield State University to provide a pathway to those students who will upon graduation, intend to teach in the Springfield Public School system.

*Applicant must be a full-time student pursuing a degree in Education: Elementary Education, Science, Math or Special Education
*Applicant must be African American or Caribbean American student who graduated from the Springfield Public Schools
*Applicant will participate in the Reach to Teach Program
