Davis Family Scholarship
The Davis Family Scholarship was established by and in honor of Dr. Perry Davis ‘71, Paula Bielski Davis ’73 and Maribeth Davis Haynes ’99 to provide funds to a Westfield State University student in their Junior or Senior year who plan on pursuing a career as a classroom teacher. Applicants must be majoring in early childhood education, history or art. Applicants must request a recommendation from a faculty member in the education department verifying the applicant’s desire to become a classroom teacher. Applicants must submit an essay on what made them decide to be a teacher.
